Originally based on six engines surrounding the endpoint to create a holistic endpoint and user risk assessment, SixEngines introduces its newest engine: Identity Security.

Endpoint and User Security Intelligence
"Our mission is to help organizations find the weakest link regarding their users and systems, which will likely cause a future security incident in the coming days, weeks, or months."
SixEngines was founded in 2016 to combat two of the largest contributing factors to cybersecurity incidents: human error and faulty endpoint configurations.
Founder and CEO Mark Obrecht holds a particular interest in behavioral analytics. After developing a technology to identify malicious software by assessing the behavior of an application, the product was purchased by Symantec, who later renamed the product SONAR (Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response).
SixEngines takes a similar philosophy behind SONAR's behavioral method approach, but instead of looking for malicious software, we quantify the degree of risk an endpoint and/or users present to your environment.
On top of identifying and remediating the highest-risk users, SixEngines helps tighten up the overall security posture of an environment by offering global policy recommendations based on the discovery of critical security gaps, suboptimal configurations, and vehicles for data leakage.
